Development tasks match one contributor by declared experience tier, verified automatically when they apply. Community tasks skip that gate entirely: anyone joins with a proof-of-participation link, no code required.

Approve a Development task's submission to release MUSD to one contributor, or pick up to N winners on a Community task and split the escrow between them in one transaction, no intermediary, no counterparty risk.

Experience matching

From "first to apply" to "best fit applies"

Owners select a minimum and maximum experience tier when posting. Contributors declare their level at registration. The system verifies the match automatically when a contributor applies, not just in the interface.

Owners: Get applicants who genuinely fit the task scope.
Contributors: See a curated feed of relevant work, not noise.
Enforced automatically: The experience gate can't be bypassed — it's checked the moment someone applies, not just filtered away in the interface.

Any registered wallet (Owner or Contributor) can deposit MUSD to fund the grant pool and earn Patron tiers. Voting on grant applications is separate: gated by the veBTC position you already hold on Mezo Earn, not by role or by depositing.

veBTC

Taskify doesn't custody anything for governance. Lock BTC on Mezo Earn to mint veBTC, and that position's weight is read directly from Mezo's own contracts every time a grant vote is cast.

Each proposal snapshots weight when it opens, so late locks can't swing a live vote

Governance

No single person can change Taskify.

The contract is owned by a 2-of-3 Safe multisig on safe.mezo.org, including an independent signer from the Mezo g6 community. Two signatures are required before anything administrative can happen.
